The Wedding Present - singles and EP’s Acetate Archive

An archive documenting The Wedding Presents singles and EP's Anyone Can Make A Mistake (1987) and Nobody’s Twisting Your Arm (1988). 

The collection includes a pair of handwritten Town House acetate discs featuring reference cuts of Nobody’s Twisting Your Arm and I’m Not Always So Stupid, alongside a PCM-F1 final mixes. Together, these materials capture key stages of the production process and provide a rare insight into the band’s formative years as their early releases moved from development to commercial manufacture.

A percentage of Chris Allison's proceeds from this collection will be donated to Restore The Music charity (restorethemusicuk.com), a social impact charity that addresses systemic inequality in music education by providing capital grants to state schools in areas of high socio-economic deprivation.
